Railgun · interactive mechanism simulation

Wallets shield tokens into a shared zk-SNARK pool (note commitments in a Merkle tree). Deposits must clear a Private Proof of Innocence check before they're spendable. Spendable notes move privately through broadcasters — either into DeFi via Relay Adapt and back, or out again via unshield — while a 0.25% fee funds the DAO treasury.

Illustrative simulation. Defaults mirror the researched Railgun mechanism (shielded UTXO pool, Groth16-proven spends, Private Proofs of Innocence gating spendability, broadcasters for gas privacy, Relay Adapt for private DeFi, 0.25% treasury fee), but deposit sizes and timing are randomized for visualization — not live onchain data. The "simulate exploiter deposit" button illustrates how PPOI blocked the zkLend attacker in 2025. Drag the sliders to explore the mechanism. Part of The Onchain Experiment Atlas.
