Colony · interactive mechanism simulation

Contributors get paid → non-transferable, decaying reputation accrues in a domain → a reputed member stakes a "motion" → if unchallenged it passes by lazy consensus, if objected it escalates to a reputation-weighted vote → a network fee accrues to the Metacolony as CLNY, while off-chain reputation miners periodically anchor the reputation tree with a staked Merkle root.

Illustrative simulation. Defaults mirror the researched Colony mechanism (work-earned reputation with a ~3.5-month decay half-life, lazy-consensus motions that pass unless objected, reputation-weighted dispute votes, and a network fee accruing to the Metacolony as CLNY) but payment sizes and timing are randomized for visualization — not live onchain data. The "trigger chain migration" button illustrates Colony's 2024 Gnosis→Arbitrum move, where non-bridgeable reputation trees could not migrate and had to be rebuilt from scratch. Part of The Onchain Experiment Atlas.
