Defaults reflect the researched Disco.xyz mechanism (off-chain gasless credential issuance via Ceramic, private-by-default storage, opt-in selective disclosure, issuer/verifier APIs) — but issuance timing, disclosure choices and verifier checks are randomized for visualization, not live onchain data. The "2024 shutdown" button dramatizes Disco's real September 2024 merger into Privado ID, after which the standalone resolver went offline, illustrating the entry's lesson that unverified "portable" data can end up stranded.
