FOAM · interactive mechanism simulation

Cartographers stake FOAM to list points of interest in a token-curated registry → any holder can challenge, and a token vote redistributes the loser's stake → separately, holders signal demand by staking on locations, and once a zone's signal crosses threshold, staked Zone Operators light up a cluster of LoRa radio beacons for GPS-independent proof of location.

Illustrative simulation. Defaults mirror the researched FOAM mechanism (cartographers stake FOAM to list points of interest in a token-curated registry, any holder can challenge with a matching stake and a token vote redistributes the loser's stake, and separately holders signal coverage demand so staked Zone Operators can light up clusters of LoRa radio beacons) — but arrival timing and vote outcomes are randomized for visualization, not live onchain data. The "trigger the failure mode" button illustrates FOAM's real weakness: the curated map had no paying consumer, so participation collapsed toward the ~140 monthly participants reported by April 2019.
