SourceCred · interactive mechanism simulation

Contributions feed a graph → CredRank (PageRank) scores them, and cred keeps flowing back to old work when it's reused → a weekly Grain budget pays out fast (recent) and slow (retroactive) grain → contributors redeem Grain from the treasury at a peg, funding more contribution. Edit the parameters and watch the flywheel — and the treasury — respond.

Illustrative simulation. Defaults mirror the researched SourceCred mechanism (contribution graph → CredRank/PageRank scoring with retroactive cred flow → weekly Grain budget split ~20% fast / ~80% slow → redemption at a treasury-backed peg), but contribution sizes and timing are randomized for visualization — not live onchain data. SourceCred's grain ledger was off-chain and its 2022 end was an organizational wind-down, not an exploit. Part of The Onchain Experiment Atlas.
