A requester posts a data request; a proposer bonds an answer. If nobody disputes within the challenge window, the answer settles as truth. If someone disputes, the request escalates to UMA's staked-token court (the DVM) for a commit–reveal vote. Dispute rates here are exaggerated for visibility — UMA reports ~99.8% of real requests are never disputed.

Defaults are loosely calibrated to the researched UMA Optimistic Oracle mechanism (bonded propose → challenge window → optional DVM commit–reveal vote at a ≥65% supermajority, with slashing of the losing side), but the demo dispute rate, request sizes and timing are exaggerated and randomized for visualization — not live onchain data.
